Our kitchen is led by Chef Gavin Khan, who started cooking as a teen at Canyon Creek Steakhouse and various SIR Corp branded restaurants. His culinary journey spans Alberta, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and the island of Trinidad & Tobago. Along with his extensive travels, Chef Gavin draws inspiration from diverse cultures and flavours. Now living in the Village of Port Alice, Vancouver Island North, BC, he also finds creativity and connection in the close-knit community, stunning natural surroundings, and local ingredients. This blend of experiences adds a unique and heartfelt dimension to his cooking.
With 25 years of experience in bistros, high-end restaurants, hotels, resorts, and catering, Chef Gavin brings a global perspective and creative touch to every dish. His artisan style blends technique with rich, authentic flavours from around the world.
